OUR PASTOR
Presently, Dr. Chris, together with his wife Cindy, pastors a growing church, River of Life Christian Fellowship in Oakland, California.
Dr. Chris’s purpose is to “Reach out to the Community and the World with the Demonstrated Power of God’s Love.”
River of Life Christian Fellowship is a contemporary Christian church committed to encouraging people with the love of God, equipping people with the Word of God, and providing a safe environment to worship the Lord.
Dr. Chris has a passion to reach the Bay Area and beyond with the redeeming love and restorative power of God. He aims to use every effective means of bringing as many people as possible to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ so they may enjoy eternal life through knowing Him and abundant life through knowing and applying His Word.
One outreach of the ministry is Life Development Corporation (LDC), founded by Dr. Chris’s wife Cindy. Life Development Corporation provides services that enrich the lives of those in Oakland and the Greater Bay Area. These services include economic and housing development, education, health, and outreach. These services are designed to empower homeless, unemployed, economically disadvantaged, and challenged individuals and families to become self-sufficient.
In 1984, Dr. Chris was ordained and licensed under The Association of Faith Churches and Ministers (AFCM) and served as an Assistant Regional Director for AFCM from 1996 to 2010, covering California, Nevada, Arizona, and Hawaii. In 1999, he received a Certificate of Ordination from the Board of Directors of The Fellowship of International Christian Word of Faith Ministries (FICWFM) and Apostle Dr. Frederick K. C. Price. He also served as the Area Director with FICWFM for the Region 1, Northern/Northern Central California Area. Pastor Chris also sits on the Board of Directors for five churches and two non-profit organizations.
Dr. Chris joined the U.S. Marine Corps on October 17, 1969, and served faithfully for 16 years. In 1973, Chris met Cindy, and they were married in 1974. They now have two beautiful children, Chris Jr. and Felicia, along with four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

OUR CHURCH
River of Life Christian Fellowship is a Word of Faith ministry teaching the uncompromised Word of God. Our vision is a multi-faceted one, derived from a desire to:
• Minister the Word of God in a dynamic and faith-filled fashion.
• To reach the lost and bring them to the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, that they may come to know Him and accept His redemptive work and make Him Lord of their lives.
• To enhance and enrich the lives of those in the Body of Christ by making the Word of God clear through the uncompromised teaching and preaching of the Word of Faith.
• To be a local outreach. We are reaching our community and world with the demonstrated power of God's love.
